Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position. The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. The position emphasizes safety and quality of care while fostering a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document care services clearly and accurately in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Ensure treatment is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Engage in student education and provide supervision during learning experiences.
• Actively pursue professional development and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Adhere to organizational performance improvement methodologies.
• Promote a culture of safety for both patients and employees.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license for practicing Physical Therapy.

Schedule

5x8.0 schedule with a start date in August, encompassing 40 hours per week.
