Registered Nurse - Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC)

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours per week available, with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Candidates must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join our healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in the West 4 Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC). This unit is equipped with 36 beds and provides comprehensive care to elderly patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ACE & ALC unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records using EPIC charting.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
