Job Description

The CV Surgery unit is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of recent CV surgery experience. The ideal candidate will have both on and off pump CABG experience, and a preference will be given to those with vascular surgery experience. This position involves working in a dynamic team environment to deliver high-quality surgical care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various cardiac surgical procedures including Off Pump CABG, On Pump CABG, Vascular Bypass, and Carotid Endarterectomy.
• Manage patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Work closely with surgical teams and provide support to surgeons during operations.
• Participate in the development of care plans and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Minimum 3 years of recent CV surgery experience.
• On and off pump CABG experience.
