Acute Care Physical Therapist - Day Shift

Day shift: 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Description

The Acute Care Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in a short-term acute care setting. The role includes evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve patients' mobility and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to support rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation goals and home exercises.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
• Must possess a valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Location

Position is available in a Level II Trauma Center.
