X-Ray Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment. The position requires the candidate to be comfortable working in various settings including the Emergency Department, inpatient areas, portables, and the OR.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Evaluate images for technical quality.
• Float between departments as needed.
• Work with students and perform competency check-offs.
• Learn pediatric and neonatal imaging techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma level 2 facility.
• BLS and ARRT certification required.
• Graduated from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program.
