X-Ray Technologist

This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technologist will operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment, working primarily in the emergency department, inpatient settings, and conducting portable procedures. This role involves learning pediatric and neonatal imaging techniques while ensuring high-quality images are produced for evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Utilize radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment for imaging procedures.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist with the training and competency check-offs for imaging students.
• Float between departments as assigned based on operational needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma level 2 facility.
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications are mandatory.
• Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT approved imaging program.
