X-Ray Tech

Schedule

8-hour evening shift, Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 11:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Tech who is comfortable working in various settings, including the Emergency Department, inpatient areas, and with portable X-ray equipment. The candidate should be willing to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging techniques. The position requires at least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 trauma center or 2-3 years at a large Level 2 trauma facility. You will be responsible for operating radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment, evaluating images for technical quality, and supporting the education of students by performing competency check-offs.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Evaluate images for technical quality.
• Be prepared to float between departments as needed.
• Work with students and conduct competency check-offs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large Level 2 trauma facility.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Graduated from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program.
