Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide attentive and compassionate care to patients on the Neuro Med/Surg unit. The role includes delivering bedside shift reports, prioritizing care, and actively involving patients and their families in the care plan.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care with a focus on safety and compassion.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage care plans.
• Initiate IV therapy, conduct basic wound care, and maintain surgical drains.
• Utilize medical equipment including IV pumps, PCA, and telemetry units.
• Support patient experience efforts through effective communication and personal connections.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Previous Med/Surg experience is preferred.
