Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week; including 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4 week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg unit specializing in Neuro care. The ideal candidate will provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families, participate in bedside shift reports, and make personal connections with patients to include them in their care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment with a 6:1 patient ratio.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and update care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize various medical equipment including IV Pumps, Telemetry, and Continuous Pulse Ox Machines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Ability to start IVs, perform basic wound care, and manage surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
