Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide care in various settings, including the ICU, ER, Nursery, and Med Surge floors. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-risk deliveries, intubation, and mechanical ventilation for pediatric patients, as well as familiarity with relevant equipment and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for newborns to adult patients in various settings.
• Attend high-risk C-sections and participate as a member of the resuscitation team.
• Perform intubation and manage mechanical ventilation for critically ill patients.
• Utilize Drager V500, Hamilton T-1 ventilators, neo puff, and EPIC documentation system effectively.
• Function as the sole Respiratory Therapist in the ER during assigned shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with greater than 2 years of experience.
• Hold current certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience working in NICU, PICU, ER, and adult ICU required.
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
