Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele Float

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts - 7 PM to 7 AM with weekend, holiday, and call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a float position across Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatric departments. The ideal candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and demonstrate the ability to provide quality patient care while assessing patients' clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across various departments.
• Recognize and address safety issues for self and others.
• Utilize patient lifts and equipment effectively and safely.
• Function well in stressful situations while applying good problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, prioritize, and delegate responsibilities as needed.
• May assume charge nurse duties when required.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in New York.
• Coronary Care experience is required.
• Completion of at least one successful travel assignment is necessary; first-time travelers will not be considered.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Previous hospital RN experience is preferred.
