Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: DAYS - 12HR: 7A-7P. 36 and 48 hours available per week. Requires 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join our team in the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care unit, featuring 37 beds. The position requires flexibility according to the needs of the facility's schedule, and the ability to float to other units if necessary. Charge nurse responsibilities may be required, with training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in an acute medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
• Monitor patients' conditions and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
