Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for our CVOR unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in open heart and vascular surgeries, as well as a strong background in operating room procedures. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with various surgical procedures and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Coordinate with the surgical team, including surgeons and surgical technicians.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any medical needs during surgery.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Document patient care details accurately in the EMR system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Proven experience in open heart and vascular surgery is essential.
• Prior operating room experience required.
