Registered Nurse (Night Shift) - Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position, working 3x12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing patients with cardiac conditions, demonstrating expertise in dysrhythmia interpretation and management. The RN will be a part of a collaborative team, providing high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac monitoring.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias accurately.
• Collaborate with rapid response and code teams as necessary.
• Administer oxygen and manage airway support as required.
• Implement isolation precautions and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or similar unit.
• Current NY State RN License required.
• BLS Certification is mandatory.
• Experience with charting systems is required.
