Respiratory Therapist - Day Shift - Hawaii

This is a 15-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift (0630-1900), three twelve-hour shifts weekly (36 hours). There is no guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide continuous airway management, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support. Responsibilities also include physician consulting, administering CPR, and performing all aspects of respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous airway management to patients.
• Manage ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support.
• Consult with physicians as needed.
• Administer CPR and other respiratory care duties.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be able to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
• Active State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license required upon assignment start.
