Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Radiation Therapist to accurately deliver radiation therapy and oversee CT simulations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with IMRT, 3D, SRS, and SBRT techniques, as well as proficiency in CBCT and Align RT. This role requires minimal supervision and entails a commitment to patient safety and high-quality treatment delivery.

Responsibilities

• Accurately deliver planned radiation therapy and operate treatment units, maintaining communication with patients during treatment.
• Perform daily and monthly QA for linac and CT, execute IGRT and SBRT treatments, and conduct portal imaging.
• CT/SIMulate patients following department protocols and construct immobilization devices as needed.
• Train and mentor staff on CT/Simulation processes and ensure all forms are ready for physicians.
• Maintain and verify all MOSAIQ entries related to daily treatment management and attend weekly chart rounds.
• Follow all safety standards and department policies, utilizing proper equipment and emergency procedures.
• Safely operate CT on rails for IGRT delivery and maintain treatment records accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Successful completion of an approved course in Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT certified and registered.
