Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel RN specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform vaginal and c-section deliveries.
• Deliver care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Utilize equipment such as FHR monitors (Novii and GE), FSE, and EMR systems (CPN and Meditech).
• Maintain a patient ratio of 2:1, and 1:1 with complicated patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.
• AWHONN or EFM certification preferred.
• Experience in Mom/Baby, Peds, and/or NICU is a plus.
