Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), must be flexible working weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Mother/Baby Unit. The ideal candidate will have strong precepting skills and experience in providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and the ability to float between units as needed. The provider should be committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a busy acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide care for mother and newborn.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and postpartum care.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy as needed.
• Provide support for breastfeeding and lactation.
• Manage and document patient care effectively using Epic charting.
• Actively participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery or Mother/Baby setting.
• Active RN license in California.
• Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced (or C-EFM), BCLS, NRP.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• Must be available to float to postpartum/mother-baby units.
