Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients during labor and delivery. The RN will be responsible for circulating during deliveries and must have experience in a large hospital setting. This role demands a high degree of expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with high-risk deliveries and vaginal deliveries.
• Circulate for cesarean sections and other surgical procedures.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to abnormalities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and manage therapies such as magnesium sulfate and insulin drips.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current valid RN license in California.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required, AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Experience in circulating during deliveries.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
