Respiratory Therapist Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights, 3x12-Hour shifts (18:00 - 06:00) with every 3rd weekend required.

Job Description

The position involves working as a Respiratory Therapist, primarily in Adult and NICU units. NICU experience is preferred. The role includes utilizing equipment such as Servo I, Servo U, Trilogy, Oscillator, V60, and Vapotherm while documenting in Cerner charting systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy for adult and neonatal patients.
• Utilize various respiratory equipment and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to develop patient care plans.
• Document patient care and therapy progress in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required.
• NJ state license required at time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CRT or RRT certification accepted.
• Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.
