Respiratory Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:00 to 06:00. Every third weekend is required.

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to work primarily with adult patients, with potential rotation in pediatric care. Candidates must hold a valid NJ state license and possess BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy to patients, including adults and in the NICU.
• Utilize equipment such as Servo I, Servo U, Trilogy, Oscillator, V60, and Vapotherm.
• Maintain accurate patient records through Cerner charting.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams regarding patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• CRT or RRT certification accepted.
• Must provide a manager reference within the last 24 months.
• Experience in a pediatric setting is preferred but not mandatory.
