Day Shift: 0600 – 1830 with 24-hour coverage rotational, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or respiratory therapist provides essential respiratory care and therapy in a healthcare setting. This role involves delivering emergent and intensive respiratory care, executing diagnostic procedures, and administering modalities of respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care in emergent and intensive situations.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures to assess patients' respiratory health.
• Implement and monitor respiratory therapy modalities for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate's degree in respiratory care or equivalent education (certificate of completion in respiratory care).
• Two (2) years of experience in respiratory care at a general or acute hospital.
• Current valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license from any state of the United States, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Current valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
