Registered Respiratory Therapist

Schedule

This position operates on a 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM schedule with a total of 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care to patients as per established protocols and regulatory guidelines. Candidates must be adaptable and willing to work in multiple facilities as the needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy and adjust as necessary.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and interpret results.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Current BLS and RRT certification through the NBRC.
• Active Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner (AZRCP) license.
• Preferred: ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• No hits on state license.
