Job Description

The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary services, adhering to protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies. This role involves delivering timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Perform intubations and blood gas analyses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
• Minimum experience required in adult ICU, general floors, and emergency department; NICU and pediatric experience is minimal but necessary to cover emergency department needs.
