Certified Nursing Assistant - Part-Time Evenings

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for part-time evening shifts. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and providing necessary support in a long-term care environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as outlined in the care plan, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, promptly responding to call lights and alarms.
• Support residents in meeting their nutritional needs, including meal delivery and feeding assistance.
• Facilitate rehabilitative and restorative care, including range of motion exercises and ambulation assistance.
• Report any changes in resident status, rights, and concerns to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.
• Adhere to protocols regarding safety and infection control practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or RQI.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Schedule

Part-time evening shifts, with a requirement to attend the full orientation on either Tuesday or Thursday.
