Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides care to a diverse patient population, ensuring a high standard of nursing practices while assisting in various surgical services and emergency trauma services. The nurse will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to patients, collaborating with healthcare teams, and maintaining effective communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Additional certifications may be required based on specific department needs.
