RN Supervisor - Full Time Nights

Full Time Nights (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend and holiday availability required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated RN Supervisor to oversee nursing units and provide clinical supervision to staff. The RN Supervisor will assure quality resident care and will be responsible for administrative decisions during off-shifts. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of nursing units under the direction of the Director of Nursing - LTC.
• Provide clinical supervision and teach staff on respective shifts to ensure quality resident care.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager about unit problems and collaborate on resolutions.
• Make administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and the Administrator - LTC.
• Facilitate clinical management and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State RN licensure.
• Minimum of 1-year nurse experience in long-term care, along with supervisory experience across multiple units.
• BLS certification required through AHA or RQI system during clinical orientation.
• CPI certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
