Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a trauma-level ICU setting. The ideal candidate will manage critical care patients, utilizing advanced nursing skills and equipment. This role requires strong assessment, critical thinking, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients with a focus on their medical and surgical needs.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures as per protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Utilize telemetry and bedside monitoring to ensure patient safety.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and ongoing care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the state of Nevada.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with ART lines, central lines, and ventilator management preferred.
