MS/Tele Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The MS/Tele Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. This role includes monitoring telemetric data, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety through effective communication and clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Delivering direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and telemetry.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educating patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participating in the charge nurse role as needed and demonstrating leadership skills.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a similar setting.
• Active SC RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required; NIH stroke certification preferred.
• Previous charge nurse experience and community hospital experience preferred.
• Tele competency is required.
