Part-Time Evenings (5 shifts of 7.5 hours each), every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This position is essential for providing high-quality care to residents, ensuring their activities of daily living (ADLs) are met, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities as outlined in the care plan, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting needs.
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the resident environment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Support residents' nutritional needs, including meal delivery and feeding assistance while respecting their preferences.
• Attend to residents' rehabilitative needs, engaging in range of motion exercises, ambulation, and proper body alignment.
• Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and monitoring for potential hazards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI) required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of long-term care (LTC) experience is required.
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
