Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Full Time Evenings

Job Description

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will perform both direct and indirect care for residents under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. You will adhere to the plan of care for each resident, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met while promoting a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, promptly responding to call lights and alarms.
• Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meal delivery and feeding as needed.
• Implement rehabilitative care as outlined in the care plan, including range of motion and ambulation exercises.
• Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse immediately.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain documentation as per established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New York State Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or RQI only).
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring evening shifts, specifically 5x7.5 hours per week. Candidates must be available to start orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday.
