Job Description

Under general supervision, the Physical Therapist (PT) delivers physical therapy services through patient evaluation, goal determination, and treatment plan development in compliance with the Maryland Physical Therapy Practice Act. The PT will treat patients utilizing appropriate therapeutic interventions and actively participate in team and interdisciplinary meetings. Competency in managing and treating multiple patient populations, including at least one high-risk population, within the acute care setting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Utilize appropriate therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to optimize patient care strategies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in standardized tests to enhance documentation processes.
• Manage an average caseload in line with productivity standards established by the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current Physical Therapy experience.
• BS, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Active Maryland Physical Therapist license.
• Acute care experience is highly preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• COVID vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted.
