Night Shift Registered Nurse - ICU/PMCU

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in neuro care to join our team on the night shift. This role will involve floating between the ICU and PMCU units, requiring versatility and a robust skill set in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in both ICU and PMCU settings.
• Manage care for patients with neuro conditions and EBD drains.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to established protocols and procedures within both units.
• Participate in orientation and training as needed, including Epic training.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two years of RN experience.
• Recent Epic experience within the last year.
• Experience managing EBD drains and neuro patients.
• Specific experience in ICU care, including trauma, vascular, and cardiothoracic cases (open heart experience is not required).

Schedule

This position operates on a night shift from 1900 to 0730. There will also be opportunities for call-offs available at no cost during the assignment.
