Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and is responsible for directing and guiding patient/family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient clinical conditions, including hemodynamic monitoring and abnormal results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid state RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• A minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, preferably in critical care
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
