Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Neuro Stepdown RN with recent experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro care and be prepared to work the night shift in a fast-paced environment. This role requires active certifications and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients post-operative and with neuro-related conditions.
• Perform assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care needs.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Neuro Stepdown nursing.
• Current Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
