Registered Nurse - Medical Step-Down

This position offers two available shifts: 12-hour days from 7am to 7pm or 12-hour nights from 7pm to 7am.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Medical Step-Down department will provide care to patients who require a Medical Step-Down level of care. This involves monitoring patients closely and delivering a high standard of nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Delivering patient-centered care to individuals in the Medical Step-Down unit.
• Monitoring vital signs and health status of patients.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
