Registered Nurse - Stepdown Unit

Schedule

3x12-Hour Day & Night Shifts (07:00 - 19:30; 19:00 - 07:30). Rotating shifts may apply based on operational needs.

Job Description

The role requires providing care in a stepdown unit, with potential to float to similar patient populations. Nurses will need to maintain high standards of patient care and may manage acute and critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and administer appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
• Document patient assessments and plan of care accurately.
• Assist with the onboarding and orientation of new staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit.
• Current Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
