Interventional Radiology Technologist (Level I Trauma)

Role & Responsibilities:

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. You will be responsible for:

• Operating advanced imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Preparing and positioning patients for vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Assisting in angiography, embolization, stent placements, biopsies, and drain insertions.
• Ensuring radiation safety and maintaining sterile techniques during procedures.
• Collaborating with the trauma, surgical, and critical care teams to provide exceptional patient care.
• Documenting procedures and maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required.
• Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab setting preferred.
