This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires 4 x 10-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with weekend coverage every other weekend.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform various imaging procedures in a hospital setting, including but not limited to abdominal, chest, and trauma imaging. The position involves using advanced radiologic technology and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures. Familiarity with Cerner charting system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure proper patient identification and safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.
• Document imaging procedures accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of contrast media as necessary.
• Provide compassionate care to patients during procedures.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered technologist in a hospital setting.
• Operating Room experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
