This position is based on an 8-hour evening shift from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

Job Description

The Radiology, X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care and quality. The technologist will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients following established protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in imaging.
• Assist in patient management and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging results.

Required Experience

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Proven experience in a radiology department, specifically in X-ray imaging.
• Strong understanding of patient safety protocols and imaging procedures.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Current state licensure as required for practicing in New York.
