Schedule/Shift

Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:30, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Weekend hours required every other week or as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit will provide care and support for patients across a diverse age range, from 18 to 99 years. The facility has a total of 24 beds and maintains a patient ratio of 1:4. The role involves working with patients experiencing mental health issues such as detox, depression, and psychosis, employing an electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health unit.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient behavior and report any significant changes to the team.
• Facilitate therapeutic activities and interventions for patient support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in EHR.

Required Experience

Applicants should have at least 1 year of nursing experience, particularly in behavioral health settings.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• HWC (Healing and Wellness Certificate) is required.
• Valid RN license to practice in Ohio is required.
