This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shift: 07:00-19:30, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekend hours are every other weekend or as needed. No call requirements.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in the Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit, serving a diverse patient population aged 18 to 99. Care will focus on mental health issues, including detoxification, depression, and psychosis. The facility consists of 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4. The role requires the use of an electronic health record (EHR) system.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to patients with mental health conditions.
• Recognize mental health as an illness and actively engage in patient care.
• Document patient interactions and treatment using EHR systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to all three units as needed, depending on staffing requirements.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Health and Wellness Coaching (HWC) certification.
