ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (Rotating Shift) in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3 x 12-hour shifts, rotating between days (0645-1915) and nights (1845-0715). Weekend coverage every other week is required.

Job Description

In this role, you will provide care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) while demonstrating the ability to manage a range of critical conditions. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing advanced medical techniques and technologies such as ECMO and CRRT.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care needs in a high-acuity setting.
• Perform advanced procedures including arterial line management, chest tube insertion, and ECMO care.
• Administer blood products and medications as per protocol.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and laboratory results to assess patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care strategies.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit.
• Experience with ECMO and CRRT is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania or Compact RN license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• NIHSS certification is preferred.
