This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift, 12 hours, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week and a guaranteed 36 hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care by utilizing the nursing process and works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team. This role adheres to hospital policy and follows standards defined by professional and regulatory guidelines while directing, coordinating, and delegating activities to foster patient and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
• Plan and implement nursing care based on patient and family needs.
• Make appropriate interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, and professional development.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment.
• Michigan nursing license verification (LARA and Nursys).

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS certification is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
