Telemetry Nurse - Night Shift

Job Description

A telemetry nurse is a specialized registered nurse who constantly tracks a patient's vital signs and heart rhythms using automated monitoring equipment like EKGs. They provide care for acutely ill patients, often stepping down from intensive care, who require close observation due to heart disease or other serious conditions.

Schedule

This position is for a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 36 hours guaranteed each week. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of RN Tele experience - Required
• NIH stroke trained - Required
• NIHSS and ACLS - Preferred
• BLS certification (AHA)
• State Licensure: Michigan
