Schedule/Shift

This position requires a Night Shift schedule, working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 36 hours guaranteed each week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health will provide direct care to patients with mental health conditions. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, administering medications, and offering therapeutic communication and crisis intervention. The RN will monitor patient well-being, educate patients and their families, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and supportive environment for recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with mental health conditions.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Engage in therapeutic communication and perform crisis intervention.
• Monitor and record patient well-being and progress.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Required Experience

• 2 years of experience in Adult Behavioral Health - Required.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS Certification - Required prior to start.
• Handle with Care Certification - Preferred.
• Oklahoma State Nursing License - Required.
