Schedule/Shift

This position requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Behavioral Psychiatry will provide care for patients with psychiatric disorders. This position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, provide therapeutic interventions, and ensure comprehensive care in a respectful and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and provide treatment as prescribed.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.

Required Experience

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention and patient assessment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Oklahoma.
• BLS certification required; additional mental health certifications preferred.
