Job Description
The Registered Nurse will collaborate with physicians to create and implement patient care plans aimed at achieving optimal health outcomes. This role involves providing bedside nursing care, carrying out medical orders, and supervising the activities of Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, and other support staff within the unit.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with medical staff to establish effective patient care plans.
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to patients.
- Delegate tasks and oversee the activities of nursing support staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Obstetrics (OB) nursing.
- AWHONN certification completed within the last two years.
Certifications/Licensure
- AWHONN Certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
- BLS (AHA) Certification.
- ACLS (AHA) Certification.
- Current Michigan State Nursing License.
