Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Acute GI Medicine Unit will provide comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions. The RN will be expected to collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Acute GI specialty is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Required: AHA BLS & NIH Certification.
• Preferred: AHA ACLS Certification.
