This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
3x12 Nights (18:45 - 07:15). Floating required to other units based on skill set. Weekend coverage every other weekend, subject to change based on need.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg setting, utilizing the Omnicell medication system and working within interdisciplinary support teams.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and manage patient care effectively.
- Float between units as necessary while maintaining competencies.
- Provide support and care to patients with various conditions, including those requiring bariatric surgery, central line management, and colostomy/ileostomy care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, pharmacy, and respiratory services.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg or a related specialty required.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active Tennessee RN license or multistate license required.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
